As bloggers, we have something to share…. whether it’s information, opinion, emotions or a laugh. It’s what makes us sit down at that keyboard, straighten our thinking caps and assemble that crazy collection of ideas we call a post.
We quickly get comfortable in our blogs, and even in the discussion boards we frequent. Sometimes they ...]

Thu, 18 Dec 2008 14:43:27 +0000
After upgrading to BIGIP 9.4.5HF2 on an F5 LTM, the web GUI might not render all graphics, leaving you with a page strewn with red X’s and other anomalies. In other words, the GUI looks really ugly and is hard to use. If you request the root document via the GUI (i.e. https://10.20.30.40 instead of ...]

Wed, 10 Sep 2008 02:50:01 +0000
How you use your categories and tags can have a direct and telling effect on how well your readers can find information on your blog, and how well search engines can index it. Both of these influences are critical for your success as a blogger.

Spending a little time to plan out a solid, logical taxonomic structure for your blog will help you win more readers, gain more search engine exposure and develop more repeat fans for your blog.

"There is no place like 127.0.0.1"
..ja, kicsit kocka..

Regarding the numbering, the folks at Cisco didn't want to start with the number '1'. So they decided to start with 1024, (2 ** 10), a common binary number. The lab was assigned the first number, 1024, and they placed a plaque with that number on the door (someone told me that the plaque has been kept and moved to one of the new test labs). Stuart was awarded the first real number, CCIE # 1025, because he created the test. I passed the hands-on test, designing and building the network in one day, then fixing the things he broke in just over half a day. I was awarded the next number, CCIE # 1026, in August, 1993, the first non-Cisco person to achieve the CCIE and the first to take the test. A bunch of Cisco employees soon followed and many of them are still working at Cisco. Something like five of the first ten CCIEs work in the same building at Cisco.

“Is this you again? ...]
